Pet Friendly Big Talbot Island State Park
Big Talbot Island State Park Big Talbot Island State Park is a pet-friendly island off the northeast coast of Florida. There's a huge variety of scenery to take in on the island and the best way to do this is on one of the many trails, such as the Blackrock Trail that will lead you and your pooch to the shoreline, the Big Pine Trail that will take your troop to the marshland, or Old Kings Highway and Jones Cut that takes in the beauty of the maritime forest. When you get tired of walkies, you can relax at one of the picnic areas on the island. There are lots of other hiking trails to enjoy on the island, as well as great fishing opportunities off the coast. Due to the carefully balanced eco-system and variety in wildlife, there may be some areas of the island that are off limits for Fido, so be sure to check with the park staff before your trip. The fee for entry onto Big Talbot Island State Park is $3 per vehicle. The park is open from 8am until sunset, but the boat ramp is open 24 hours a day. See Details
