Pet Friendly Clifty Falls State Park
Clifty Falls State Park Dogs are welcome at Clifty Falls State Park. You and Fido will discover Clifty Canyon, offering stunning scenery that can be viewed on one of the hiking trails that weaves around the park. There are ten pet-friendly trails in total, varying from steep to easy and all offering a different adventure. Although the canyon is incredibly beautiful, the main attraction are the falls themselves. Every time you visit the park you'll notice that the falls offer a different view, sometimes the water crashes over and other times it trickles tranquilly. Dogs must remain on a leash under six feet for the duration of their stay and owners are reminded to clean up after their pets if they make a mess. See Details
Bridgeton Mill The oldest continually operating mill in Indiana. Indiana's most famous covered bridge. Located 20 miles NE of Terre Haute, IN on the Big Raccoon Creek. Fort Harrison State Park Fort Harrison State Park is dog-friendly. Formerly the site of Fort Benjamin Harrison, the park features a Citizen's Military Training Camp, Civilian Conservation Corps camp, and a World War II prisoner of war camp. As well as being a wander back through time, there are plenty of trails you can actually wander on to enjoy the natural beauty of the park. Starting out at Delaware Lake picnic area and leading to Duck Pond, the easiest trail is the Harrison Trace Trail; at just over three miles in length on a flat asphalt surface it's ideal for any levels of walker. There are a number of moderate trails that weave around the wooded areas in the park, but the most difficult trail is Schoen Creek Trail. This hiking trail leads through prairies and grasslands. Dogs are welcome on all of the trails, as long as they are on a leash under six feet and you clean up any mess after them. The park is open every day of the week from 7am to 8pm. See Details
Turkey Run State Park Turkey Run State Park is dog-friendly. You and Fido are welcome to come and explore the sandstone ravines, aged forests, and scenic views of Sugar Creek. There are a number of popular trail dotted around the park that give lots of different perspectives of the beauty of the place, including a number that go through the old quarry. The park is open every day of the week from 8am to 11pm. Turkey Run State Park allows dogs on a leash under six feet, but owners are reminded to clean up any mess that they leave behind. See Details

Chain O' Lakes State Park Chain O' Lakes State Park is dog-friendly. If you like lakes, you'll love the nine lakes that join together at this destination. You and your pooch are welcome to explore the park by paddling through the lakes or on the eight forested trails that vary between 0.5 miles to 2.5 miles. There are a number of pet-friendly picnic areas dotted around as well. The beer-loving staff at this pet-friendly brewery and taproom love creating interesting beverages that best suit their customer's individual palates. The beers on draft vary depending what they've dreamt up lately, but you'll often find Irish coffee, lager, ales, IPAs, and plenty more. As no food is prepared on the premises, Fido is welcome to join you inside and out at Round Town Brewery, but never fear, a number of local food trucks pull up in the car park to feed the hungry patrons of Round Town. Pokagon State Park Dogs are welcome at Pokagon State Park, where Native American heritage can be seen around every corner. Lake James and Snow Lake are next to the park and they provide great spots for pooches who love boating, swimming, and fishing. There are nine pet-friendly trails to enjoy in the area as well, varying from easy trails through pine trees, hardwood forest, and rolling land to rugged pathways through swamps and forests. Spring Mill State Park Dogs are welcome at Spring Mill State Park. Back in the day, pioneers built gristmills, a wool mill, a saw mill, and a distillery in the area using the water flowing from cave springs to power them. You and Fido can enjoy wandering together around the regenerated forest on the eight pet-friendly trails in the park, some of them leading to caves in the Spring Mill State Park and Cave River Valley Natural Area. Switchyard Brewing Company Located in downtown Bloomington, Switchyard Brewing Company is dog-friendly! Leashed pets are allowed on the dog-friendly outdoor patio, except from 7pm to Close on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Dogs must be house-trained, well-behaved, and quiet, and they are not allowed in the brewhouse. Charlestown State Park Dogs are allowed at Charlestown State Park, where you'll discover scenic vistas of the Creek valley and the Ohio River. Ornithologists could spend an age at this park trying to identify the 72 different types of bird that call this park their home, including bluebirds, black vultures and even a bald eagle. Dogs who aren't interested in looking upwards, I'm not sure they even can, will be able to hike the rugged terrain instead, consisting of Devonian fossil outcrops and areas of karst sinkhole topography. The pet-friendly hiking trails vary between 1.2 and 2.9 miles. Due to the wildlife in the area, pet owners are reminded to keep Fido on a leash for the duration of their stay. See Details
Brownsburg Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch Brownsburg Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch at Hogan Farms is a seasonal attraction in Brownsburg. You and your pooch are invited to try and find your way out of the maze. Every year the design is different, offering a new challenge for repeat visitors. This popular park is home to the 327-acre Worster Lake, old fields, mature woodlands, restored prairies, and wetlands that are all ideal for a day trip with your pooch. If you are looking to explore all the nooks and crannies of the park, you can use the nine trails that weave around the diverse landscape. The longest is a 6.6-mile mountain bike trail that allows hikers to walk safely in the opposite direction of mountain bikers. Adventurous hikers will love the rugged hiking trail that winds through woods, up and down hills, all the way to the highest point in the park. Their mission is to serve simple, quality-driven beer and contribute to our community in a positive way. McCormick's Creek State Park Dogs are welcome to join their owners at McCormick's Creek State Park. The park is made up of a limestone canyon, featuring a flowing creek at the center with scenic waterfalls plunging over rocks. The park is steeped in history and you'll discover a historic Statehouse Quarry near White River. There are ten different pet-friendly trails dotted around the park that vary in length and difficulty, including a trail through Wolf Cave Nature Preserve that features forest trees, spicebush, and native wildflowers. Mid-America Windmill Museum Leashed dogs are welcome to join you at the Mid-America Windmill Museum as you learn about wind power from its origination through the American Windmill to the present day. Dogs are allowed both inside the museum and on its grounds. Museum admission is cash only: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $3 for children and students. Patoka Lake Patoka Lake is an 8,800-acre pet-friendly lake in Indiana. You and Fido are welcome to enjoy the hiking trails around the lake, including the rugged main trail that loops around the lake and up to Totem Rock, a large rock shelter that was used by Native Americans and early settlers. For an easier trail, the Garden Rock Loop Trail will take you to ferns, by rocky overhangs, and through pines. Shades State Park Shades State Park is pet-friendly. They welcome dogs and their owners to enjoy the park in Montgomery, Parke, and Fountain Counties in Indiana.
