The dog park has artificial grass to ensure the area is kept clean, and fresh water to fill bowls for thirsty pups. Blydenburgh Dog Park at Blydenburgh County Park Blydenburgh County Park is a 627 acre park located at the headwaters of the Nissequogue River. The park is richly forested hills and valleys and the centerpiece of the park is a man-made lake, Stump Pond, that was created at the turn of the century. Dogs are allowed, on leash, throughout the park and without leash only within the fenced-in Dog Park. The Dog Park is an entirely fenced in two acre parcel that includes separate areas for small and large dogs. Each area has an open field and a wooded path to meander through with your dog. Each section is double gated for safe and easy access and includes a water spigot/drinking fountain. There is ample parking adjacent to the park.
