Pet Friendly Barton Orchards
Barton Orchards Located on Hudson Valley's 175-acre, premiere PYO family farm, Barton Orchards in Poughquag, NY, is now home to a pet-friendly park. To play in the dog park, pups must be well behaved, and you will need to be able to show proof of immunizations. Additionally, dogs are allowed in the orchard during PYO season; however they do need to be on a leash when walking outside of the the fenced dog park. Dogs are not to be brought inside buildings including The Tap Room, Farm Market or Bakery, which are also located on the farm. Opening hours vary depending on the season. See Details

New Milford (Candlewoof) Dog Park The New Milford Dog Park is a lovely fenced in park, nestled in the southwest corner of Petibone's Elementary school field. The park area has two separate fenced-in areas, one for small dogs, and the other for larger breeds. An agility course can be found in the large dog section as well. Southbury Dog Park Southbury Dog Park is a 14-acre, off-leash dog park that welcomes all people and dogs. The entrance is through the O & G Industries' entrance and is on the company's land. It has a fenced-in small-dog area, a huge open field, a beautiful and accessible river, two wooded trails, tables and benches, and plenty of poopy bags. Owners can bring their dogs to enjoy the company of other dogs, to play a game of fetch, or go for a dip in the stream. It is an off-leash area for dogs, but it's not completely fenced in.
