DuSable Dog Park

There's almost always other dogs to play with at this fenced off-leash dog park with separate small dog area, bathrooms, and lighted parking lot.

Bark Park

The dog park is located in Legacy Park off of Hwy N just North of City Hall. The site is a fenced one (1) acre area, with both large and small areas, where dogs are permitted to run without leashes. All regulations are posted at the site, including all animal feces are to be picked up by the dog owners / handlers. Bags and trash cans are provided in the park. Bark Park Rules: DOG OWNERS / HANDLERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS AND BEHAVIOR OF THEIR DOGS AT ALL TIMES •All dogs must be under control of an adult. Limit of three (3) dogs per adult. •Children under eight (8) are strongly urged not to be brought into the bark park for their own safety. •Dog owner / handler is responsible for picking up and properly disposing of their dogs waste in a trash receptacle. •No other animals may be brought into the fenced area. •All dogs must be leashed when entering and leaving the park. •Dogs under four (4) months of age are prohibited. •Dogs in heat are prohibited. •Dogs showing any signs of aggression must be leashed and immediately removed from the bark park. •Never leave your dog(s) unattended in the bark park. •Dogs must be in view of and within voice control of their owner / handler at all times. •Dog owner / handler must carry a leash with them at all times while in the bark park. •Pinch, choker chains, and spiked collars must be removed from dogs prior to entering the bark park. •Small bite sized treats are permitted. Glass containers, food in bowls, long lasting chews, and human food are not allowed in the bark park. •Owner / handler must stop their dog(s) from digging and are responsible for filling any holes. •Report broken or damaged equipment to City Hall at 636-498-6565.
