Chambers Bay Off Leash Park & Beach

There is off-leash beach access area for dogs south of the Bridge (and adjacent to Chambers Bay Golf Course, Home of the 2015 US Open). The entire park is 7 acres with a 1 acre off-leash area. It is maintained and funded by SUNDogs (Safe, Unleashed, Natural), a non profit group in University Place, Washington.

Warren G. Magnuson Park Off-Leash Dog Area

Magnuson Off-Leash Dog Area is a fully-fenced, 6-acre dog park divided into several smaller areas with access to swim in Lake Washington. Best of all, it's the only dog park in Washington with beach access.

Spokanimal Dog Park at High Bridge Park

Spokane's only actual dog park. There is an area for large dogs and an area for small dogs. Please bring a gallon of water with you. Water is supposed to be installed by summer of 2013 but for now it's bring your own.

Howarth Park

Howarth Park has a great, long beach area to take your dog. At low tide, the sand stretches out forever with plenty of room for you and pooch to run around, or just bring a picnic and get some sun! Check the tide reports before going to ensure ultimate beach bliss, and park up top for a fun little hike down to the water in this lush little 28 acre park. Unfortunately, not the entire park is off leash, just the beach area, but other areas of the park include picnic/bbq facilities, trails, a playground, tennis courts, restrooms, fishing, and salt-water access.

French Lake Dog Park

The French Lake Dog Park is a large, 10 acre off-leash park. It has a pond, picnic area and parking stalls.

Puyallup Dog Park

Puyallup Dog Park is located between Clarks Creek Park North (7th Ave. SW) and Clarks Creek Park South (14th Street SW & 12th Ave SW) and can be accessed by entering either park. The dog park is 2/3 of an acre and fully fenced. This is a trial program. Public opinion is based upon behavior of you and your dog. The success of Puyallup's off-leash area depends on you.

Ace of Hearts Rotary Dog Park

Dakota Memorial Dog Park at Pacific Community Park

This 8-acre dog park is located on the north side of Pacific Community Park. It is fully fenced with two double-gated entrances accessible from the two parking lots inside the community park. The dog park features a gravel perimeter trail through open lawn and forested areas, a rustic log agility course, benches and drinking fountains. A dog rinse off area is located on the back side of the restroom located on the west side of the park closest to NE 164th Avenue (Note: Dogs must be leashed at the rinse off area).

Dr. Jose Rizal Dog Park

Pets are welcome to enjoy plenty of off-leash playtime in this large park. Much of the park is not fenced, however there is a fenced dog run for those who feel more comfortable with their dog playing in a more confined space.

Robinswood Animal Corral

Robinswood Animal Corral is beautiful with room to run and trails to explore. The park offers drinking water and benches. Open from sunrise to sunset.

Clarks Creek Off-Leash Dog Park

Tails and Trails Japanese Gulch Dog Park

Tails and Trails Dog Park and Japanese Gulch Park is a 3/4 acre fully fenced, doubled-gated off-leash dog area that opened in October 2012. The park features a grassy lawn, agility equipment, benches, clean-up bag dispensers and trash cans.

Hawk's Prairie Dog Park

Your pet will love the chance to play off-leash at this dog area behind the Thurston County Waste and Recovery Center. The park features a special area for small dogs, water stations, a sand and gravel area for digging, paths and fencing. The free park also includes a large, dog bone-shaped patio and decorative fire hydrants.

Loganberry Lane Off Leash Dog Area

Loganberry Lane Off Leash Dog Park is a large wooded area between Kasch Park Athletic Complex and Walter Hall Golf Course. It has an open area at the entrance off of 18th Ave W, but most of the area is a network of forested trails through natural vegetation. A couple of things to be aware of - It can be a bit muddy at times and it is not totally fenced, so you need to be aware that there are a couple of places your dog can escape the park boundaries.

Tambark Creek Park Dog Park

Tambark Creek Park dog park is part of the Snohomish County Parks System. The off leash area is approximately 2-3 acres and is completely fenced area with shrubs and trees. The entrance is a short distance from the parking lot and is equipped with clean-up bags. At this writing (Oct 2013) it does not have water available.

Wapato Lake Park

Wapato Lake Park is a one-acre public park is on the edge of a 285-acre lake. Leashed dogs welcome on its short trail that leads to a tiny sand beach. The park also features three fully-fenced areas for pets to romp leash-free with their owners (including one reserved just for small dogs). Water, benches and shelters are provided on-site.

Willis Tucker Dog Park

The off-leash dog area at Willis Tucker Snohomish County Park has over 10 acres of fully-fenced areas for dogs and their people to enjoy. There are 3 fenced off-leash areas to choose from: an open meadow, a forested trail, and a smaller older/shy/small dog area. Drinking water is available.

Point Defiance Park

Take your dog for a scenic stroll along Puget sound at this park located near Tacoma's world-class zoo and aquarium. Dogs are welcome off-leash in the designated fenced area with separate sections for large and small dogs. Dogs are not permitted on the zoo and aquarium grounds.

Ft Steilacoom Dog Park

At 340 acres, Ft. Steilacoom is the largest park in Lakewood and provides a diverse mix of active and passive recreation. It features an expansive & scenic trail system, baseball, soccer & softball fields, a state-of-the-art playground, off-leash dog park & new picnic shelter.

Chetzemoka Dog Park

Port Townsend pooches rave about this small, fenced dog run, where they are welcome to run and play off-leash. The park is located about 1.5 blocks north of Chetzemoka City Park.

Brush Prairie Dog Park

Brush Prairie Dog Park features approximately 7.5 acres of flat, open fields for all dogs, a separate one-acre small/shy dog area, and plenty of space to run, jump, and fetch. The park, which is fully fenced with a double-gated entrance accessible on 149th Street, has limited on-site parking. However, overflow parking is available at the nearby Center for Agriculture, Science, and Environmental Education (CASEE), located at 11104 N.E. 149th Street.

Gas Works Park

This peaceful public park is built around a former gasworks, and is a beautiful place to bring your leashed pet for a bit of fresh air.

Edmonds Marina Beach Off-Leash Dog Park

Located about 20 miles north of Seattle, the Edmonds Marina Beach Off-Leash Dog Area one of the few off-leash dog areas that provides access to a beach on Puget Sound where dogs can swim and play in the water. There is a doggie rinsing station and the beach is partially fenced, though you need to be careful as dogs are not allowed on the adjacent beaches.

The larger area is a 3 acre meadow that has some trees, benches, picnic tables and agility equpment. There is also a smaller one quarter acre "shy dog" area.

South Hill Dog Park

Large fenced dog park on the South Hill of Spokane with room to run and play and comes highly recommended by dogs! Mostly flat with a mix of trees for shade and wide open spaces the park is accessible and usable in all weather conditions and there are trails along the outside perimeter if your dog doesn't like a lot of interaction with other energetic specimens. There are three different entrances to the park: one on the North-side at S Altamont St & E 63 rd Ave with parking, one on the East-side at S Regal St & E 65th Ave with parking, and one neighborhood entrance on the West-side at S Martin St & S Crestline St. The South Hill Dog Park is clean and dog owners do a pretty good job at picking up after their pets. Manson Dog Park

Smallish off leash park and beach allows dogs to romp lakeside in a fenced off section. Grassy area nearby to sit down and relax while Fido plays. A busy road runs beside the park, so dogs must be leashed when outside the fence.

Shelton Off-Leash Dog Area at Kneeland Park

Newer dog park still being completed, but as of October 2016, fully enclosed and able to be used. Approx 1/3 to 1/2 acre with plans to expand and build a separate "small-dog" area. Off-Leash area is adjacent to the Kneeland city park which has a large "Castle" type play area for children as well as a very large, fully covered gazebo where bands perform. Enclosed bathrooms also on Kneeland park property. 4-6 metal picnic tables, and several evergreen and maple trees to provide shade.

Patmore Pit Dog Park

Patmore Pit off-leash park has the largest fenced area of all the Whidbey Island off-leash parks. Patmore is a 15-acre meadow with a separate fenced agility area, fenced small dog area, toys, water, and poop bags provided. Directions: Hwy 525 North or 20 South to Patmore Road turn West on Patmore Road to second road on left. Follow road to gate, entrance will be on your left.

Marguerite Brons Memorial Park

Offering 13 acres of meadow and woods, Marguerite Brons Memorial Park is popular with dogs and their humans. The park is completely fenced allowing humans to relax and socialize while their dogs run and play safely. The park consists of 3 different areas: a small dog area, a large open meadow, and an even larger wooded area with trails. Directions: From SR 525 head south on Bayview Road about 1/2 mile. The park entrance is on the left (south) side of Bayview Road.
