Grand View Point Trail Grand View Point Trail is a moderately easy, 6-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 3 hours to complete with Fido. For a shorter hike you can take Mill Creek Road, which turns into Forest Service Road 2N10/Skyline Drive, to a point just below the summit where the trail passes over the road. See Details
Pet Friendly Lake Gregory Regional Park
Lake Gregory Regional Park Dog Park is on the South Shore (including a little one for tiny guys), but the real fun is the 2.7-mile fitness trail. Dogs must be on a leash. Lots of dogs hike the lakeside trail (many swimming as they go) so there is a lot of scent to keep your 4-legged entertained. Ducks, loons and a couple of giant cranes are at the water's edge, and ground squirrels are along the interior, so there is a lot of visual action for Fido, too. See Details
Grays Peak Trail Grays Peak Trail is a moderately easy, 7-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 3.5 hours to complete with Fido. This trail is on the north side of the lake and will actually lead you to the backside of the mountain where water views disappear. However, losing the view of the water is worth the peace, quiet, and open vistas that take its place. See Details

Little Bear Creek Trail Little Bear Creek Trail is an easy, 3.8-mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 2 hours to complete with Fido. This hike will take you through the area where the final battle with the Old Fire of 2003 took place. The area was singed, but certainly not devastated, and is starting to recover. See Details

Cleghorn Mountain Trail Cleghorn Mountain Trail is a moderately easy, 10 mile hike in San Bernardino National Forest that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. Although this area was devastated by the Old Fire of 2003 and no longer has as much beautiful vegetation as before, the flora and fauna is beginning to grow in. Cougar Crest Trailhead Moderate hiking trail in Big Bear Lake, California. This trail of roughly 5 miles out and back. At the end, this trail meets up with the PCT at the base of Bertha Peak.
