Pet Friendly Cape Lookout North Trail
Cape Lookout North Trail The North Trail is a moderately easy, 5.2 mile hike in Cape Lookout State Park that will take about 2 to 3 hours to complete with Fido. Leave the trailhead and after hiking for just short of a mile you will reach Cape Creek. At 1.5 miles into the trail you will be able to view the Pacific from a nice ridge. Kings Mountain Trail Kings Mountain Trail is a challenging and dog-friendly hike. The trial is 3.8 miles with a 2.5-mile elevation gain to panoramic views. The trail is a steep but gradual climb, so be sure to wear sturdy boots and bring along plenty of water for you and Fido. Dogs must be cleaned up after and leashed.
