Camp Smith Trail Camp Smith Trail is a somewhat difficult 3.5-mile hike in Hudson Highlands State Park in Cortlandt, NY. This pet-friendly trail in the southern part of the park borders the Camp Smith Military Reservation and will take about 3 hours to complete with Fido. This path 7.3-mile hike is considered somewhat difficult and may take about four hours to complete with Fido. This trail offers rather challenging climbs up Round Hill and East Mountain.
