Watson Lake Park Watson Lake Park is a pet-friendly spot in Prescott, AZ. Dogs are welcome to join their owners on this beautiful trail of stunning scenery. The scenic park allows access to Watson Woods, as well as the boulders of the Granite Dells. Montezuma Well at Montezuma Castle National Monument Bring your dog to explore the Montezuma Well cenote trails at the Montezuma Castle National Monument. The path from the parking lot to the "well" is a loop but one side (near ranger's office) has stairs and is quite steep while the other side (near the vault toilets) is longer but flatter. This park is a unique 101-acre space that features a perennial warm spring and pond that is home to an exceptionally rich mix of plants and animals. Stroll the network of accessible paved and gravel trails with interpretive signs that explain the geology and history of the warm spring and the natural and human history of the site or picnic in the shade of mature palm trees and native mesquite trees. Agua Caliente Hill South Trailhead Bring Fido for a hike on the dog-friendly Agua Caliente Hill South Trailhead in Tucson, AZ. This path connects with the Coronado State Park trail system. The trail offers beautiful views of the city. Although Cat Track Tank at 1.6 miles sometimes has water, it's best to bring a good supply for you and your dog. See Details
Shaw Butte Hikers are welcome to take their leashed dogs on hikes up the pet-friendly Shaw Butte in Phoenix, AZ. Shaw Butte is a member of the Phoenix Mountain Preserves and lies directly north of North Mountain. A hike up this preserve offers great views of North Mountain, Piestewa Peak and Lookout Mountain as well as beautiful views of downtown Phoenix. Kendrick Park Watchable Wildlife Trail Kendrick Park Watchable Wildlife Trail is a pet-friendly hiking destination in Flagstaff, AZ. You may experience a wide variety of bird, insect and animal life on this unique trail. There are two trails located at this site. A short paved loop that is ADA accessible, and a longer loop with a native surface on flat terrain. Both options provide an educational interpretive experience. Sinclair Wash Trail The Sinclair Wash Trail is one of 1600 rail-trails supported by Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that is working to create a nationwide network of trails from former rail lines and connecting corridors. Previously an unused railroad corridor, this dog-friendly "rail-trail" is now a great place to walk Fido in Flagstaff! The map below shows a trailhead where you can pick up the Fort Tuthill (Flagstaff Urban - University Heights to Fort Tuthill). Dreamy Draw Recreation Area Bring your canine friend to experience the diverse desert landscapes at the pet-friendly Dreamy Draw Recreation Area in Phoenix, AZ, offering everything from fantastic views to secluded valleys. Leashed dogs are permitted on some of the trails within the park, including the pet-friendly Dreamy Draw Nature Trail, but are not permitted at Piestewa Peak. See Details
Nate Avery Trail Nate Avery Trail is a great pet-friendly trail to take your pooch on in Flagstaff, AZ. One of the most popular urban trails in the area, this two-mile loop around Buffalo Park leads to an expansive open space on the flat top of McMillan Mesa, an ancient lava flow. Leashed pups are welcome to join you on this wooded trail through elegant pine trees in the Coconino National Forest, proceeding over the edge of the Mogollon Rim, and the longest portion on the Tonto National Forest. North Mountain The pet-friendly North Mountain in Phoenix, AZ is an easily accessible mountain and is a member of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve.
