Embassy Suites lives up to its name. As the largest all-suite hotel chain in the U.S., the company has long catered to families and business travelers who appreciate the comfort of its two-room suites. And select properties are happy to extend a welcome to your canine companion. The upscale yet affordable hotels are located in major cities and near airports throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America, making them ideal both for family vacations and business meetings. Additional perks like complimentary breakfasts and evening receptions with snacks and drinks only add to their value.
Ready to Live the Suite Life?
With every two-room suite boasting a private bedroom and separate living area with sofa bed, Embassy Suites makes it easy for the whole gang (Fido included) to stay in comfort. Families of five can easily be accommodated in a suite, each of which is equipped with two flat screen TVs and a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, Wi-Fi and coffeemaker. There is also an in-room workspace for business. The spacious digs leave plenty of room for Fido to stretch out and roam.
Guest perks include a free, daily made-to-order breakfast with both hot and cold options and an omelet bar, and a complimentary two-hour evening reception every night with free appetizers, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Every property also features a 24/7 fitness center and BusinessLink Business Center. Several of the locations offer more than 10,000 square feet of meeting spaces.
Before you pack Fido's travel bed alongside your briefcase, make sure he will be welcomed at the Embassy Suites of your choice. Since each property is independently owned or franchised, the decision to permit pets is left up to hotel management. Although the majority of the properties across the chain do not accept pets, more than 60 locations are happy to welcome your furry family members at check-in.
All pet-friendly Embassy Suites charge an additional pet fee that can range from $25 per pet, per night to $200 per stay. Several hotels also offer pet perks like doggie goodie bags, treats at the front desk or relief areas with waste stations.
Embassy Suites’ Pet Policy
Because each property is independently owned or franchised, there is no brand-wide pet policy for the chain. As such, the pet policy is determined by the individual hotel. Many pet-friendly Embassy Suites allow two pets in each suite, and all of them charge a pet fee that ranges from $25 to $200 per stay. Additionally, several will permit dogs up to 50 lbs or 75 lbs. However, the majority of the brand’s 250-plus locations do not accept pets at all, so it is important to carefully read the pet policy at each hotel before booking. Although Embassy Suites’ pet policy varies across the chain, BringFido makes it easy to find and book the one that suits your needs. You can browse our site or mobile app to search pet-friendly Embassy Suites that will accommodate you and your furry companions. And we do all the legwork for you. Our canine concierge team contacts the hotel to confirm the assignment of a pet-friendly room and can even help with any exceptions or special requests that you may have. Remember that when you book with BringFido, you enjoy the benefit of our Pet Friendly Guarantee, and you’ll never pay a booking fee. Whenever you are ready to book, call us at 877-411-3436 to speak to one of our friendly agents, or save some time and book online. Either way, our service is free.
Above and Beyond
While a number of Embassy Suites welcome pets, a few go the extra mile to treat Fido like a VIP.
At the Embassy Suites in dog-friendly Boulder, visiting pups are welcomed with more than homemade dog biscuits (although those are good, too). The hotel offers a doggy room service menu with drool-worthy meals like steak and carrots and chicken and rice on offer. The hotel’s Pet Retreat Package includes food and water bowls delivered to Fido’s room as well as a $10 credit from the pet menu, which is sure to disappear quickly. Finally, four-legged guests are greeted by Arlo, the hotel mascot, and Bahloo, the lobby pup-in training who works the night shift.
The pet-friendliness at the Embassy Suites Seattle-Tacoma Airport extends beyond dogs and cats. For the past three years, the hotel has hosted the Seattle Parrot Expo and has welcomed many feathery guests in its rooms. Most exotic pets are no problem at this location. Even a kangaroo has stayed here! Recently, a guinea pig was accidentally left behind by his owner, and the housekeeping team discovered him in the room. After giving him some vegetables, the staff purchased a cage, animal bedding, food, water and toys to ensure he was comfortable. A few days later, when the guinea pig and guest were reunited, the staff gifted them with the new items.
