New Pet-Friendly Hotels: April 2023

April brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From the Biggest Little City in the World to the Gateway to the West, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Element Reno Experience District

An array of modern conveniences await two- and four-legged guests at Element Reno Experience District. As part of Element’s Love That Dog program, a signature pet bed, food and water bowls, and clean-up supplies are provided. Apartment-style suites feature hardwood laminate floors, writing desks, living areas with sofa beds, and full kitchens with cooktops and dishwashers. Fuel up each morning with a complimentary breakfast, work out in the on-site gym, unwind with a drink in the lobby bar and swim laps in the rooftop pool.

Dog-friendly outdoor seating at Pinon Bottle and spacious fenced grounds at Virginia Lake Dog Park are both within one mile of the hotel.

Element Reno Experience District welcomes two pets up to 60 lbs for no additional fee.

Tru by Hilton Audubon Valley Forge

Situated 20 miles north of downtown Philadelphia, Tru by Hilton Audubon Valley Forge gives pups a comfy base camp for exploring one of America’s most historic cities. Cozy rooms are equipped with laminate flooring, work desks, mini refrigerators, complimentary WiFi and bathrooms with walk-in showers. Guests can enjoy excellent property amenities like a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor saline swimming pool, 24/7 lobby market and a free build-your-own breakfast buffet.

Located a few blocks away, Bald Birds Brewing Company serves a variety of local craft beers on their dog-friendly front deck.

Tru By Hilton Audubon Valley Forge accepts two pets up to 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 per stay.

Hyatt House Tampa Downtown provides furry travelers with all the hospitality they’ll need for a satisfying stay in the heart of the city. Contemporary rooms and suites decorated with local artwork include living areas with sleeper sofas, full kitchens with bar seating, flat-screen HDTVs and panoramic city views. Dine on authentic Latin cuisine in the on-site restaurant, exercise in the 24-hour fitness center and go for a soothing swim in the heated pool on the fifth-floor sun deck.

The nearby Curtis Hixon Waterfront Dog Park offers pups a fully fenced turf space complete with agility equipment and drinking water.

Hyatt House Tampa Downtown welcomes one pet up to 50 lbs or two pets with a combined weight of 75 lbs for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 5 nights) and $175 (for longer stays).

WaterWalk San Antonio at The Rim

Visiting canines searching for all the comforts of home will be happy to spend a night or two at WaterWalk San Antonio at the Rim. This residential complex features furnished apartments outfitted with wood plank-style flooring, large living rooms, full kitchens and washer/dryer units. Take advantage of convenient community amenities such as an on-site gym, outdoor swimming pool, coffee and tea bar and picnic area with barbecue grills.

Tons of Fido fun can be found a short drive away at Coyote Dog Park, complete with agility equipment and wash stations. The adjacent Shops at La Cantera also allow pups in common areas and a handful of stores.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Raleigh State Arena

The brand new Home2 Suites by Hilton Raleigh State Arena is the perfect spot to kick up feet and paws in the Research Triangle. Modern studios and suites are outfitted with separate living areas with sofa sleepers, kitchens with full-sized refrigerators and dishwashers, and private bathrooms with walk-in showers. Guests can feast on a free hot breakfast, and utilize the on-site fitness center, saline swimming pool and laundry facilities.

Delicious Carolina barbecue and dog-friendly outdoor tables are available at Backyard Bistro, located less than a mile away.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Raleigh State Arena welcomes a maximum of two pets of any size for an additional fee of $75 (for stays of 1 to 4 nights) and $125 (for longer stays).

Very Important Pets will be treated to luxury accommodations at Hotel Saint Louis, Autograph Collection. Located in the heart of downtown, this boutique hotel boasts upscale rooms equipped with cozy sitting areas, writing desks, two flat-screen TVs and for added comfort, robes and slippers. Dine in the hotel restaurant, rejuvenate at the full-service spa, stay active in the fitness center and take a dip in the heated outdoor pool.

Leashed dogs can traverse the trails and soak up picturesque views a few blocks away at Gateway Arch National Park.
