December brings six hotels that are opening their doors to furry guests for the first time. From the Land of 10,000 Lakes to the Land of Enchantment, Fido can rest his paws at these newly pet-friendly accommodations across America this month.

Rand Tower Hotel Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Four-legged city slickers will discover modern luxury in a historic Art Deco setting at Rand Tower Hotel Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Elegant rooms and suites adorned with aviation themes feature cozy sitting chairs, compact work desks, mini refrigerators, Lavazza coffee makers and walk-in showers with rainfall heads. Guests can enjoy dinner or drinks at one of three on-site lounges, exercise in the 24-hour fitness center and take advantage of the hotel’s dry cleaning services.
The Commons, a 4-acre downtown park located four blocks from the hotel, is the perfect spot for leashed pups to get their steps in.

The Oliver Hotel of Oxford
Blending small town charm with big city energy, The Oliver Hotel of Oxford is happy to open its newly renovated doors to visiting canines. Inviting rooms are outfitted with work desks, flat-screen HDTVs, free high-speed internet, minibars and blackout curtains. Relax with a good book beside the library fireplace, sip cocktails in the rooftop bar and grab some fresh air on the dog-friendly patio terrace.
Stroll a few blocks to The Growler of Oxford for tasty craft beer and fresh crawfish. Leashed pups are allowed at patio tables.

Kimpton Shane Hotel
Kimpton’s long-standing love of pets is alive and well at the brand new Kimpton Shane Hotel. Nestled in the midtown arts district, this boutique property provides stylish rooms with hardwood flooring, comfy couches and chairs, writing desks, fully stocked minibars, walk-in showers and floor-to-ceiling windows capturing amazing city views. Dine on fine cuisine in the lobby restaurant, work out in a state-of-the-art fitness center and mingle with fellow guests at the evening social hour.

Old Town Inn on Block Island
Furry vacationers seeking peace and tranquility will be zooming for joy at Old Town Inn on Block Island.
