Leashed pets are welcome to enter the fort and explore the hiking trails within the monument. Leashed dogs are also are allowed to walk along the shoreline; however, they should not enter the water, as there is always a very strong current. Pets are not allowed in public buildings. Fort Pulaski National Monument is open year round from 9am to 5pm. Admission is $7.
