Description
The Canine Walk for Cops is a community dog walk and Tucson Police Department K9-Unit appreciation event. The Canine Walk for Cops has raised thousands of dollars to benefit the Tucson Police Department's Service Dog Unit for safety equipment and training.
The registration fee includes a 1-mile dog walk, breakfast (for the 2-legged walker) following the walk, a collectable Tucson Police Foundation bandana and a 'doggie goodie bag'.
Tucson Police Officers and their 4-legged partners lead the walk. Following the walk, a light breakfast is provided. There are several vendors on hand with unique and practical items for you and your furry companion. There is also a raffle drawing and fun doggy contests.
The highlight of the event is an exciting demonstration by the Tucson Police Department Service Dog Unit.
