Pet Fair | Walkathon | Road Race

Are you looking for some free family-friendly fun this fall? Join the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire for their 12th annual Pet Fair! This rain-or-shine event will run from 9am-3pm on Saturday, September 19th, at Derryfield Park in Manchester, NH. Admission is free to the public, and the festivities are suitable for the entire family…including the dog! While Pet Fair will be here before you know it, why wait until September to join the fun and start helping the animals? Sign up today for the Pet Step Walkathon, and start fundraising! You can form your own team, join an existing team, or walk as an individual. This walkathon is a great opportunityto bring together coworkers, catch up with friends, or to start teaching your children valuable business ideas early. Registration information can be found on the League’s website, rescueleague.org. Another fur-tastic feature of this event is the traditional “My Dogs Are Barking” 3 mile road race. Interested participants can sign up at rescueleague.org, with the first 250 participants receiving $5 in Runners Alley Bucks, and the first 500 participants receiving a free commemorative T-shirt. Registration fees benefit the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire, and children under 8 years old run free! Leashed dog-friendly dogs are welcome, and will receive a complementary collapsible water bowl. For the little ones, there is a free Kids’ Fun Run starting at 11:15am, for children 2-5 years old. In addition to the fitness fun, the Pet Fair will include local vendors, delicious food, a dog disc demonstration, children’s activities, and much more!
