This annual dog friendly event will be held from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on September 12, 2009 at Jessie Turner Health & Fitness Center in Fontana, CA. Sponsored by City of Fontana & Orange Empire Dog Club. Admission varies—see website and benefits various community charities.

Description
The City of Fontana in conjunction with Orange Empire Dog Club, Inc. is proud to present their first annual Fontana’s Dog Day of Summer. Start your day off with a morning dog walk. Then join us for low cost vaccinations, a microchip clinic, and low cost grooming for your furry friend. Additionally there will be canine demonstrations by the Fontana Police Department, agility trainers and others. You can also participate in a variety of games with your pet, earn an AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate and try out canine sports equipment and see what it would be like to participate in one of many canine events. There will also be a number of vendors for you and your pet alike. You can also participate in our first annual coloring contest. More details can be found at the OEDC website or at the Jessie Turner Health and Fitness Center in Fontana. So come on out and join us for a day of fun in the sun with man's best friend.
