This annual dog friendly event will be held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on June 5, 2010 at Hardesty Park in Akron, OH. Sponsored by WAKR/WONE/WQMX. Admission benefits area animal shelters.

Description
The Pet Expo is the 9th annual. Very successful event as last year over 4000 people attended. 80+ pets were adopted. Over 45 area animal shelters brought dogs, cats, birds etc for adoption. We estimate over 250 animals in the park. In addition, people come with their own pets to stroll the park and view the animals. We have a "cutest pet" contest as well as vendors with items for display and sale. (40+ vendors were on hand)
