Walk for Wildlife

Earthplace Goes to the Dogs! For one very special day in September, Earthplace is encouraging you to introduce your favorite canine friend to your favorite nature center. Join us on Sunday, September 26th, 2010 anytime between 11-4 to begin your dog walk on the Earthplace trails located at 10 Woodside Lane, Westport, CT. This event will benefit the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Animal Care Programs at Earthplace and will take place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, vendors and exhibitors will be located in our auditorium. Entrance to the Walk for Wildlife is only $15.00. Ask your friends, family and co-workers to sponsor your walk to maximize your support. Entrance fees will be waived for those who raise $50.00 or more in sponsorships! There will be prizes for walkers who raise over $100.00 in sponsorships, a grand prize for the highest sponsored walker and free Walk for Wildlife tee-shirt to all participants registered by September 1. Before and after your walk, you can enjoy food, fun and prizes! There will be animal related vendors, exhibitors and service providers galore including a pet photographer, animal psychic, dog trainers and more!!! There will be a police dog demonstration, search and rescue demonstration and an agility demonstration. There will be a fun agility course open for all participants. We will also have a silent auction where you can bid on your favorite doggie products and services! See our website for the complete and growing list.
