STRUT YOUR MUTT!

Every dog has its day, and in Los Angeles your dog’s day is Sunday, September 19th! Join us for a morning walk along California’s scenic Pacific Coast in Santa Monica to help homeless pets in Southern California, and then celebrate afterwards at our PAWty--the ultimate doggie festival at the Santa Monica Pier. The 1-mile walk will begin and end at the Santa Monica Pier. Raise money for Best Friends or one of our participating local rescue groups! As part of the Best Friends Network Charities program and its mission of supporting local groups to achieve No More Homeless Pets®, Best Friends Animal Society has opened up this fundraising opportunity to our local area Network Charities groups. All participating Network Charities groups are 501(c)3 organizations that are working towards achieving a world of No More Homeless Pets®. When you join one of our participating Network Charities Walk Teams and help raise money for them, they will receive 100% of all money raised! You can also raise money for Best Friends' local LA programs by registering as an individual, forming your own team or joining another team. If you want to sleep in that day and participate in spirit, you can register as a Dog Dozer or Cat Napper for a discounted fee and still get our 2010 Strut Your Mutt t-shirt, provided by Anvil! The Top Individual Fundraiser and their dog will be featured in Best Friends Magazine and on the 2011 Strut Your Mutt t-shirts!!
