    Pet Rock in the Park

    Mark your calendars for Pet Rock in the Park! This dog friendly event will be held from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on August 27, 2023 at Deering Oaks Park in Portland, ME, US.     Description

    Bring Fido to this fun, annual event! The stage will feature live music from 70s, 80s & 90s played live by The Time Pilots. Seven food trucks will be on site and pet products will be available for purchase. Representatives of area Animal Shelters and Rescue Groups will be there, too with adoptable pets.

      So much fun

      We just left the Pet Rock in the Park. We hope to make this a yearly tradition. We met so many friendly people and pets. There were more booths and food trucks than I anticipated. One booth offered free pet costumes to take home for a small donation. Many local vendors selling handcrafted pet accessories. Great music too. Highly recommend!

      May 19th 2013 it happens again!

      2011 was year 1 for this event and it was terrific. In 2012 it was SO MUCH BIGGER with more music, great food, animal shelters and rescues, and over 3,500 in attendance! I can hardly wait to see how great it is this year - everyone should go - 5/19/13 from 11a-4p
