Animal World USA is pleased to announce that the 6th Annual Arizona Week for the Animals scheduled for December 2-10, 2017 has been proclaimed by Governor Doug Ducey. Arizona Week for the Animals is turning the spotlight on educators, advocates, animal shelters, rescue organizations, sanctuaries, students, artists, community leaders, and caring citizens in an exciting week of community-building activities. The exciting week will feature holiday pet adoption festivals statewide, 5K's, wildlife activities, pet therapy in hospitals and living-assisted homes, horse & burro welfare events, educational activities, bird watching/walking tours, library activities, Santa pet photos, Home for the Holiday pet adoptions, veggie & vegan meetups, low cost and free spay/neuter and vaccination opportunities, Maricopa County shelter pet adoption fee specials, Greyhound meet and greet events, wildlife center activities, salute to working/search & rescue K-9's, and so much more! All these events will shine the spotlight on the amazing animals and compassionate people of Arizona who love them.
