Arizona Week for the Animals

Animal World USA is pleased to announce that Arizona Week for the Animals is September 22-30, 2018! During the exciting governor-proclaimed week animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting a multiple of fun-filled, animal-related events. Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens will be joining in celebrating and helping animals. Events will include special Maricopa adoption fees, offsite adoptions, rescue group adoption days, spay/neuter low-cost events, shelter adoption/drive days, R.E.A.D. dog programs & book displays in libraries, kick off Fall in Love pet events, donkey & horse events, horse assisted therapy, birding activities, pet pawties, ways to help/adopt farm animals, wildlife conservation, therapy dogs visiting hospitals & living-assisted homes and a salute to our military and working K-9's. Also included in the spotlight are pet food drive/opportunities, veggie meetups & events, and themed events for families to come help and enjoy the amazing animals!
