Description
A Christmas Tail 5k is an out-and-back course starting at 1885 Grill in St. Elmo, heads across Broad Street, and onto the River Walk, before turning back. This is a PR course: flat, fast, and cooler temperatures. For beginner runners this will be a great course to run your first 5k. There will be an aid station at the 1 mile and 2 mile mark with fun and energetic volunteers. New to 2018 will be a 3 person team competition, with runners also being eligible for individual awards.
The Mutt Strut and costume competition is for participants of all ages and their canine friends. It is a 1-mile fun walk starting at 9:45 a.m. Pet holiday costume contest to follow.
All 2-Legged Participants will receive a 100% cotton t-shirt. All 4-Legged Participants will receive special treats.
This event will be held rain or shine.
All proceeds from this event benefit the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga.
