Description
The American Cancer Society Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of canine caregivers. These dogs demonstrate unconditional love, joy, compassion, and no judgments of cancer survivors' abilities or appearances. Also celebrate the lives of our canine best friends who have been impacted by cancer, as well.
Families and their dogs come together for a few hours during the day and complete a walk to honor the caregiving qualities of their canine "best friends" and cancer survivors.
Activities can include:
• Doggie games
• Top dog and dress up contests
• Team and community fundraising
• Music and food
At Bark For Life events, participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences, find new support systems, and make lots of new friends.
