IFSS Dryland World Championship

This is the premier international dryland sled dog competition organized by the International Federation of Sleddog Sports (IFSS)—the global governing body for sled dog sports. Competitors must follow strict guidelines: no motor vehicles on trails, with inspections allowed only on foot, bicycle, or scooter with up to two dogs. All dogs must be microchipped, listed on official IFSS forms, and at least 18 months old by October 21, 2025. Vaccinations for rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus-2, parvovirus, and kennel cough (covering both parainfluenza and Bordetella) are mandatory, given at least 21 days before the event with proof in a passport or vaccination booklet. Dogs must remain contained and never run loose outside designated fenced areas.
