Run the Ridge Canicross K9 5K

K9 5K (canicross) participants may only race with one dog and must be connected to their dog at all times, whether by wearing a belt that is connected to a secure harness on the dog or by using a leash that is connected to a harness. The leash cannot be connected to the dog's neck or head. The use of a belt connected to a harness is encouraged, as this is the safest and easiest way to participate in a canicross race. The dog must not be aggressive or vicious toward people or other dogs, and the owner is liable for any injuries caused by their dog to other runners, dogs, or event attendees. Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs - please bring bags. Runners are also encouraged to bring a portable water bottle, though water bowls available at the water station halfway through the course as well.
