Dachshund Dash at the Colorado Springs Oktoberfest

Mark your calendars for Dachshund Dash at the Colorado Springs Oktoberfest! This dog-friendly event will be held Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM, from September 26, 2026 to September 27, 2026, at Western Museum of Mining & Industry in Colorado Springs, CO. Admission is $15 per dog, and Dachshunds are only permitted during the race at the festival. Visit Website

Description

Registered Dachshunds are invited to the festival on Saturday and Sunday to race in this annual competition! Each racing team must have one Dachshund-breed dog, one person to release and one person to catch. Dogs are raced based on age, and race until a winner is declared in each age group. Dachshunds must be registered to attend and no other dog breeds will be permitted.
