Enjoy a guided walking tour exploring the story of a famous dog who became a symbol of the kindness-to-animals movement beginning in 1893. Learn about the author, the park’s history, and the monuments honoring the human–animal bond while taking in the natural beauty of the area. The easy, accessible loop features benches along the way, and knowledgeable guides share stories and local history.
