This dog friendly event will be held on the first Saturday of July and October from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument in Mountainair, NM. Admission benefits the B.A.R.K. Ranger Program and Friends of Mountainair Animal Shelter.

Description
Leashed dogs are invited to join a BARK Ranger–themed event featuring a guided group hike, educational activities and opportunities to learn about pet etiquette in park settings. Visitors can also enjoy an informational presentation focused on local animal welfare and adoption awareness.
Guests are encouraged to bring lunch and relax in the picnic area afterwards. The first event is held on Independence Day.
