Pooch Plunge & Adopt-A-Thon
Mark your calendars for Pooch Plunge & Adopt-A-Thon!
This dog friendly event will be held from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on September 12, 2026 at Haynes Pool in Rio Rancho, NM. Sponsored by City of Rio Rancho Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department. Admission is $5 per pet (cash or check only) and benefits local animal rescues.

Description
Bring Fido out for one last swim before the outdoor pool closes for the season. There'll be vendors, food trucks, animal rescues and more. Please note that you must have vaccination records on hand, and people are not allowed in the pool with their pup.
