Safe Harbor Lab Rescue 10th Anniversary

Safe Harbor Lab Rescue's 10th Anniversary Celebration will be held at the Cherry Creek Country Club. Tasty appetizers, a cash bar and hilarious entertainment provided by Dr. Kevin Fitzgerald DVM, comedian and star of Animal Planet's "Emergency Vets", will be provided. Since its founding in 2002, Safe Harbor has rescued over 1,900 Labrador Retrievers. An all volunteer, non-profit organization, its mission is to rescue and successfully rehome stray, abandoned or surrendered Labrador Retrievers located primarily in Colorado. We partner with professionals to provide medical care, training resources and breed education. Each year over 275 Labs are rescued from shelters, families who cannot keep their Lab, vet hospitals and Good Samaritans. All are given vet care, placed in foster care and adopted to a thoroughly screened forever home. At the celebration party there will also be drawing to help raise funds to care for the Labs: • A "Shadow Day" with Dr. Fitzgerald, DVM, at Alameda East Vet Hospital (for ages 11 and up) • A two night getaway at the Vail Cascade Resort • 4 tickets in a Corporate Suite for a 2012-2013 Avalanche Game plus a hockey stick signed by the team Party admission is $35; seating is limited and advanced purchase is required.
