Downtown Dogs

Come out and join us! Help the Food Bank help families with pets. The Barkery is hosting Downtown Dogs, on Sunday, September 23rd from 11:00am to 3:00pm, in the square outside Covent Garden Market downtown London. We will be collecting pet food for the London Food Bank. Many families in need of their services have pets and we hope to be able to help the Food Bank help them feed their dogs and cats. The Barkery will match sales of Acana food purchased during the festival for donation to the Food Bank. All cash donations will go directly to the food bank for their regular program. There will be displays of all sorts of pet-related information - rescue groups, resources and other support for pet owners, as well as various other fun doggy activities. There will be demonstrations, giveaways and contests for dogs and their people. Watch demonstrations by Details Dog Training Rally-o teams, and by the Ulta-mutts from In Dogs We Trust. Have lunch from Manito's while you're here, get your dog's photo taken by Sherry Lemcke Photography, their nails clipped by Fur Paws Only, and their paw prints preserved in clay by 2Hands - a portion of all proceeds will go to the Food Bank. Enter your dog in a contest and win Downtown Dollars or Covent Garden Market gift certificates. There will be something for everyone!
