On select dates, guests can bring Fido and paint a portrait of him! Artist Michele Cahill will help each pet parent masterfully paint their best canine friend. Please note that you must register in advance and email a picture of your dog to Michele prior to attending.

The experience includes a mix of adventure and enrichment like dog yoga, meditation, training, hiking, paddling, and group swim time, along with creative workshops and educational seminars.

This dog-friendly festival raises funds for the local animal shelter while helping adoptable animals find loving homes. Guests can browse vendors, enter raffles and enjoy free pup cups and frisbees, along with a K9 demonstration and a festive costume parade.

This pet-friendly celebration honors the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi’s passing with a special service celebrating creation and the debut of Gaia. Pets and their human companions are welcome inside the Cathedral for the service, followed by outdoor pet blessings beginning after the service concludes. A formal animal procession will not be part of the celebration, and passes are not required.

All pets are invited with their families to attend the 11 AM service. Afterwards, all will be invited to go outside in the churchyard (at the southwest corner of the church) for the Blessing of the Animals. If you’d like to attend the blessing only, please arrive with your pet around 12:15 PM.
