Celebrate Fall with Fido with a visit to the Biltmore Estate to view the spectacular property. The grounds are perfect for walking your pets, but please keep them securely leashed at all times. Dogs aren't permitted inside any buildings, but are allowed on the outdoor patios of Bistro and Cedric’s Tavern for dining.

Stroll through a lively holiday market featuring over 35 local artisans, fresh-cut Christmas trees, and warm seasonal treats like hot cocoa and cider. Don’t miss the highlight of the evening, the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 PM, for a magical moment to kick off the season!

Leash up Fido for a stroll through the town for holiday shopping! At dusk, you'll see the twinkling lights, illuminated snowflakes and beautifully decorated storefronts. There will be an official tree-lighting ceremony, music and more. Please note that Fido may not be welcome in all areas and shops, so be sure to ask first before entering with your pup in tow.

Watch a holiday winter wonderland light show with Fido! Tune your vehicle radio to 90.9 'The Grinch' and watch the animated show fully synchronized to music. Shows last about 10-20 minutes, and there's a different show each night! If you attend on New Year's Eve, they'll switch over to their special New Year show to ring in the new year! Rain or shine the light shows go on. The show is free, and they'll be collecting donations for the Blue Ridge Humane Society and Henderson County Toy Run. Closed Christmas Day.

Enjoy a tail-wagging day at Lake Julian filled with exciting dog activities, entertaining shows, and the chance to meet adoptable pups from local rescues. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun, including in contests. The event also features food trucks and a variety of pet-focused vendors offering treats, products and services for your furry friends.
