Leashed dogs are welcome at this anniversary celebration that will feature raffles, door prizes, local vendors and rescues, games and activities, tours of the facility, and treats for humans and pups. Please ensure Fido is up-to-date on vaccinations before attending.

This dog-friendly Oktoberfest-style event features local pet vendors, a stein-holding contest, a best-dressed lederhosen contest, plus German-inspired food and beer. Guests can enjoy festive activities while supporting Blue Ridge Humane Society.

On November 21st and December 5th, bundle up and come on out for coffee, produce, meat, eggs, live music, hot food, and plenty of handmade artisan crafts, including unique gifts and holiday decorations! Guests are also welcome to write a letter to Santa, create a holiday craft, take a photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hike with an elf, and meet live Park animal ambassadors. Join a community dog walk with your leashed pup the second Sunday of each month! The group will take a leisurely loop around Main Street and ending back at Wag! A Unique Pet Boutique. Pup cups will be available.

Watch a holiday winter wonderland light show with Fido! Tune your vehicle radio to 90.9 'The Grinch' and watch the animated show fully synchronized to music. Shows last about 10-20 minutes, and there's a different show each night! If you attend on New Year's Eve, they'll switch over to their special New Year show to ring in the new year! Rain or shine the light shows go on. The show is free, and they'll be collecting donations for the Blue Ridge Humane Society and Henderson County Toy Run. Closed Christmas Day.

Enjoy a tail-wagging day at Lake Julian filled with exciting dog activities, entertaining shows, and the chance to meet adoptable pups from local rescues. Leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun, including in contests. The event also features food trucks and a variety of pet-focused vendors offering treats, products and services for your furry friends.

Each Friday, weather permitting, bring Fido to the outdoor patio and toast to the weekend! Socialize with other dog owners and pups while enjoying drinks and special appetizers. There will be complimentary puppucionos for dogs! Customers are encouraged to bring an unopened pet item donation for the Blue Ridge Humane Society.
