Set in the lush Baker Event Lawn and surrounding gardens, guests can sip beer, wine, or soft drinks from the on-site Green Gardener’s Shed, enjoy rotating food trucks, and stroll amid live performances spanning Americana, folk, jazz, bluegrass, country, pop, and more, all while basking in the glow of the golden hour. Leashed dogs are welcome and must be cleaned up after.

This annual Wiener Dog Derby takes place during Oktoberfest at Southern Appalachian Brewery. The number of heats will depend on how many dogs are registered. Costumes are encouraged! All breeds are welcome to attend Oktoberfest, but races are for Dachshunds or Dachshund mixes only.

St. Jude's Anglican Church of Hendersonville is hosting a community-wide Blessing of the Animals. During the event they'll also receive donations for the Henderson County Animal Shelter.

Furry, feathered, and even scaly friends are welcome to celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi at this annual outdoor blessing. In celebration of this day, they’re collecting cat and dog food and other pet supplies for Blue Ridge Humane Society at all services on this day as well.
