A drive-through Christmas and Holiday Lights Spectacular. NEW Displays, Over 1 mile of lights, Santa's Village, Rides for the kids, and more. Franktown Festival of Lights is Williamson County’s only drive-thru light spectacular. Presented by Franklin Synergy Bank, attendees can relax in the comfort of their own car and wind their way through more than 200 light displays, spanning a little over one mile, while listening to Christmas classics on the radio. Pet Friendly Leiper's Fork Christmas Parade in Franklin, TN
The Leiper's Fork Christmas Parade is the wackiest parade in this area! There will be tractors, old cars & trucks, beautiful floats, cute floats, wacky floats, people dressed in crazy costumes, pigs, dogs, horses, donkeys, mules, horse & buggies, chuck wagons, horse drawn wagons & of course, SANTA!! IMPORTANT: COME EARLY! The parade begins at 2 PM and the road through the village closes just before 2 PM and will not reopen until the parade begins.
Pet Friendly Dog Days at The Hermitage in Hermitage, TN
BringFido and enjoy the trails and grounds of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage! This monthly series will allow dogs and their humans to enjoy the acreage of The Hermitage every last Saturday of the month, from May through November. On Dog Days, visitors can walk the grounds, hike the trails and enjoy the preserved natural surroundings and historic 19th-century buildings with their pup. With a combo ticket, guests can get an exclusive Hounds Hike the Hermitage Tour with a surprise Hermitage team member. This 60-minute walking tour will include stories of the Hermitage community and explore the outer edges of the historic area, including untouched fields and enslaved quarter sites. Tours will leave at 10 a.m. from the Andrew Jackson Visitor Center. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online and reserve their spot!
