Photos are available by scheduled appointment, and a portion of each session supports your choice of Furry Friends or Sacred Paws Rescue.

Bring Fido for a scenic train ride along the Tillamook Coast to enjoy fall’s vibrant colors. Dogs are welcome in the open-air cars. This fall train excursion offers panoramic views of forests, the Nehalem Bay coastline and the Coast Range mountains. Passengers can learn about the history of the railroad and surrounding natural areas from onboard docents before enjoying a 45-minute layover in Wheeler to explore local shops and food options. Trips depart at 2 PM on Fridays, and at 11 AM and 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Leashed dogs are welcome to join their humans at this running event for all abilities! Register in advance to participate in the 5K, 10K or 15K. Bring any food items you wish to donate to the University Food Bank. Dogs need to start at the back of the race, distanced a little from the crowd. Please keep Fido on a short leash and keep a passing lane open on your left-hand side at all times.

Dogs are allowed aboard the Candy Cane Express in the outdoor covered car! Offered by the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, this festive, 1-hour train ride runs from Garibaldi to Rockaway Beach and back, and features holiday decorations, complimentary hot cocoa, cookies, and a visit from Santa. Bring Fido for a picture with Santa! There will be both digital and print photo options. There will be a limited selection of free squeaky toys for early attendees, along with some dog sweaters and dog jackets!

Join Coby's Cafe for a festive indoor holiday market, dog-friendly and full of unique treasures, treats, and local vendors for pets and humans alike!

You can shop from local makers, enjoy festive bites and hot drinks, and bring your pup along for Santa photos. Your dog must be on a non-retractable leash and up to date on shots.

On Monday and Tuesday night only (November 30th and December 1st), walk Fido along to the largest light show in the northwest spanning the track at Portland International Raceway. You'll see over one million LED builds and hundreds of light displays (many of them animated). Dogs must be leashed and festive attire is encouraged! Driving isn't permitted on the track during these nights, but if you'd like to drive through the display with Fido another evening, check out the Winter Wonderland event HERE.

This annual event brings seasonal cheer with live performances from local youth, free photos with Santa, and a festive marketplace offering treats and unique holiday gifts from local vendors. Gather in the plaza for the magical tree lighting at approximately 5:30 PM and enjoy an evening filled with holiday spirit with your leashed pup!

Registration is highly recommended and includes a holiday card, a photo from the session, plus digital photo files of 30-50 photos on a bone-shaped USB flash drive for your use, a goodie bag and more. Dogs must be on a leash. Cats and other pets must be in a carrier.

Enjoy a festive 5K run or walk along the scenic Cedar River Trail with family and furry friends. Dogs are welcome to participate but must be at least 6 months old, current on vaccinations and kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Each person may bring up to two dogs. Participants are encouraged to bring pet food donations for local animals in need.

Leashed dogs are welcome only on designated Yappy Hour days; pets aren't permitted at the market during regular hours. Yappy Hour is held November 23rd and December 7th. Dogs can explore the holiday market, enjoy treats at the entrance, pose for photos with Santa and participate in a doggy fashion show and Most Festive Pup contest!
