If you have a Wiener or almost Wiener dog, you cannot miss this annual event! All Dachshunds will be grouped by weight and must be less than 25 lbs to participate. In addition to racing, there will be other activities like a Doggy Parade and Costume Contest! Dachshund-mix dogs may race in special “Almost Wiener” heat, but are ineligible for the grand prize trophy run. Other breeds are ineligible to race, but are welcome to come cheer on their fur friends! Registered dogs need to check in at the registration desk between 9 AM – 10:45 AM.

This dog-friendly hiking event partners with Rabun Paws 4 Life to give participants the chance to meet adoptable dogs and take them for an adventure along the North Rim Trail. Dogs are welcome to join a moonlit paddle on Saluda Lake, with kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, and paddle boats available to rent. Enjoy lakeside music, sunset views, dinner, glow gear, and a post-paddle s’mores fire for a memorable evening on the water. Note that a waiver is required for every participant. Check in begins at 7:30 PM

Dogs are welcome to join their owners for a week-long educational camping gathering focused on ancestral and heritage skills. Participants can explore classes in foraging, friction fire making, basketry, wood carving, stone tools, and more while connecting with nature and the community. Dogs require their own registration ticket.

Every Saturday during October, bring Fido for a spooky outdoor scavenger hunt through the Wormsloe State Historic Site! Leashed dogs are welcome, but please note that Fido isn't permitted inside buildings. Visitors will follow clues to find the skeletons. If you find them all, you'll receive a treat.

Decorate your vehicle for Halloween and hand out candy and treats to children and pups! Prizes will be awarded to best costumes, best pet costume and best vehicle decoration. If you decorate your vehicle and hand out candy the parking fee will be waived. Hayrides and other activities will also be offered.

Leashed dogs are welcome to enjoy the farm with you! Guests can explore a sprawling corn maze, pick pumpkins, enjoy a mega slide, zipline, ropes course, jumping pillow, gem mining, tractor tire playground, cow train, and more. With tasty concession areas serving everything from kettle corn to funnel cakes and BBQ, there’s something delicious for every appetite.

Leashed dogs are welcome on the 1 mile course throughout the wellness park, or the 5K course through the streets of downtown. During the 5K there will be one water station along the route as well as at the finish line. Registration for all participants includes a t-shirt and finishers' medal.
