​It’s all about good vibes, sunset views of the NYC skyline, and meeting your neighbors. Whether you have a four-legged bestie or just want to enjoy the fresh air, come hang out! All dogs must be on a 6' max, non-retractable leash and be current on vaccinations. ​Walk-ins are welcome—no RSVP needed!

This free, dog-friendly community event features activities and demonstrations, rescue and adoption organizations, pet vendors, dog photo opportunities, food and drinks, and waterfront fun.

Bring Fido out to this annual parade dressed in his favorite costume! In addition to a contest, there'll be local vendors, raffles, a kids' activity area and much more. The rain date is October 18.

This community event will take over an entire block of Hell’s Kitchen! Activities will include pet adoptions, dog portraits, food and drink, local vendors and small businesses. Vendors will line the closed-off street for an expected 5,000+ attendees to celebrate all things ‘dog’ in New York City!

Visitors are invited to bring their leashed dogs to stroll the gardens, with the exception of the Walled Garden. Advance tickets are required, and no entry tickets will be sold at the ticket booth. On Sunday, the festivities continue with the Fall Dog Parade & Costume Contest at 3:00 PM. Participants must register at the map stand by 2:00 PM. Prize categories include Best Overall, Prettiest, Most Handsome, Most Original, Best Person & Dog, and Funniest. Sunday's festivities will also include vendors.

Leashed dogs are welcome to stroll with you around the gardens! The costume contest begins at 3:00 PM. Participants must register at the map stand by 2:00 PM. This event is part of the Dog-Friendly Weekend at Old Westbury Gardens.

This dog-friendly Halloween event features decorated trunks from local pet-friendly businesses offering treats to pups and their people. Guests can also enjoy a dog costume contest, pie-eating contest, raffles, games and more.

Join the Van Cortlandt Park Alliance, Van Cortlandt House Museum, and the Urban Park Rangers for a free afternoon of family and dog-friendly fun! Enjoy creepy crafts, face painting, and spine-tingling stories with LINC on the museum lawn. At 3:00 PM, don’t miss the Annual Pup Parade & Canine Costume Contest. Pups can be registered from 2:00–2:45 PM or pre-register online. Cap off the evening with a Nocturnal Creatures and Wildlife Hike led by the Urban Park Rangers from 6:00–7:30 PM.

Leashed dogs are welcome for a full day of fall fun, featuring family-friendly workshops, a community resource fair, and New York’s second-largest dog costume contest co-hosted with Chateau le Woof. Guests can enjoy pumpkin decorating, hands-on activities, and plenty of festive entertainment, making this a one-of-a-kind seasonal celebration you won’t want to miss.

The Arthritis Foundation’s race is the original festive race for charity with your pup. It’s where you can strut your stuff in your favorite holiday costume. Bring a team of friends, family, and co-workers to run or walk. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash. Check-in starts at 9:00 AM and the race begins at 10:30 AM.

Get ready to laugh as your furry friend howls for a night of tail-wagging fun. Enjoy canine-themed jokes and drinks with your pup. This show is recommended for audience members ages 18+ and occurs one Friday each month. Check their website for current schedule.
