In honor of National Dog Day, Fido can ride the Ferris wheel for free with the purchase of adult admission. There's a limit of two dogs per human and all pups must be leashed. This is the only time of the year that the wheel welcomes furry friends. You'll enjoy panoramic views of the Washington DC skyline from the 180' wheel, inside a climate-controlled gondola. After the ride, bring Fido to Club 1776 for Yappy Hour serving up refreshing drinks and special treats for your four-legged companion!

Pup Stroll Wednesdays at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

On Wednesdays, during regular daytime hours, leashed dogs are welcome in the gardens (only service dogs are permitted on other days). Each adult may bring one dog. All attendees must sign an Assumption of Risk and Rules of Participation form before entering. Dogs must be leashed at all times with a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. Loaner leashes are available at the Admissions Desk, and adult handlers are responsible for keeping dogs under control and out of landscape beds.
