Celebrate the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals and the environment. Pets and their people are invited to gather at the west front of the Cathedral for a special blessing.

Bring your beloved pets to receive a blessing, or, if your pet is shy or difficult to transport, feel free to bring a photo instead. Following the service, outdoor blessings will also be available for neighborhood pets and those more comfortable outside.

On Wednesdays, during regular daytime hours, leashed dogs are welcome in the gardens (only service dogs are permitted on other days). Each adult may bring one dog.
