You might not be able to teach an old dog new tricks, but you can certainly register them for a tail-wagging good time with the 5K, and 1 Mile beach run. The start and finish is on the beach next to Raging Waters water park (you and your 4-legged friend will be running, or strolling, on the beach – course map to come). Will your dog be the leader of the pack? If so, then you better get to training because all dogs must remain on a leash at all times. Morey’s is proud to once again be partnering with Team Foster, a non-profit organization whose primary mission is to pair service dogs with Tri-state area veterans suffering from combat-related disabilities including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury. Morey’s will donate $5 from every registration to Team Foster. Funds raised will cover the cost of obtaining the dogs, the dogs’ care, and specialized training team, at no cost to our veterans.
