Celebrate Fall with Fido with a visit to the Biltmore Estate to view the spectacular property. The grounds are perfect for walking your pets, but please keep them securely leashed at all times. Dogs aren't permitted inside any buildings, but are allowed on the outdoor patios of Bistro and Cedric’s Tavern for dining.

Take a trot with Fido on Thanksgiving Day through the charming downtown streets! Open to runners, walkers, and even costumed participants and pets. Registration includes a long-sleeve Turkey Trot tee, goody bag, and awards for fastest runners, best costume, and best pet costume.

The event starts at East Main and Church Street, allowing everyone to enjoy a festive morning workout before holiday feasting. Proceeds support local organizations, and all participants can register online, with shirts available on a first-come basis.

This annual Thanksgiving day tradition starts with a 5K race at 8:00 AM, followed by a Kids 1K Fun Run at 9:15 AM. Dogs are welcome to participate at the back of the runners.
