The class includes guided instruction, practical exercises, and simple techniques that can be used to help reduce stress and support a pet’s natural healing processes. Heroes on the Run 5K & Hungry Hound’s Doggolymics Participants can choose from 5K and 10K run/walk distances or a shorter Kids Mini-Run, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Old Mill area, with leashed dogs welcome to join the course. In addition to the races, the event features live entertainment, food trucks, raffles, local vendors, a K9 demonstration, and dog-centric activities like Doggolympics (2 PM - 5 PM), with all proceeds helping fund rescue efforts, medical care, adoption support, and education for dogs both locally and around the world.
