Celebrate the official start of Oktoberfest with Fido at this annual event! Enjoy German-style beer releases, great music, German food, and limited edition souvenir beer steins handcrafted in Germany!

Enjoy a relaxing morning of yoga and brunch with your pup! This dog-friendly outdoor yoga class includes a one-hour session, a dog park day pass valid all day Saturday, one brunch menu item and two 12-ounce mimosas.

Bring Fido out to enjoy some water play at Saluda Splash! The splash pad will be fenced in for this event, offering a safe space for the pups to play. Admission includes access to the splash pad and the Fetch and Find Marketplace.

Weather permitting, gather for the blessing on the Brenau lawn. Pets of all shapes and sizes are welcome with their owners of all faiths to participate in the service; however, appropriate restraint should be provided for all animals. Those who attend are invited to bring a donation for the Humane Society. In the event of rain, simply drive through Grace Church's covered driveway along Boulevard to receive a blessing!

If you have a Wiener or almost Wiener dog, you cannot miss this annual event! All Dachshunds will be grouped by weight and must be less than 25 lbs to participate. In addition to racing, there will be other activities like a Doggy Parade and Costume Contest! Dachshund-mix dogs may race in special “Almost Wiener” heat, but are ineligible for the grand prize trophy run. Other breeds are ineligible to race, but are welcome to come cheer on their fur friends! Registered dogs need to check in at the registration desk between 9 AM – 10:45 AM.

This annual event takes place in the historic and Starland districts of Savannah and attracts over 1,000 participants with their furry friends each year. Humans and pets dress up in Halloween costumes and follow event maps to over 100 businesses giving out dog treats and goodies. Enjoy photo ops and Wiener Dog races!

Dogs are welcome to join their owners for a week-long educational camping gathering focused on ancestral and heritage skills. Participants can explore classes in foraging, friction fire making, basketry, wood carving, stone tools, and more while connecting with nature and the community. Dogs require their own registration ticket.

Every Saturday during October, bring Fido for a spooky outdoor scavenger hunt through the Wormsloe State Historic Site! Leashed dogs are welcome, but please note that Fido isn't permitted inside buildings. Visitors will follow clues to find the skeletons. If you find them all, you'll receive a treat.

This dog-friendly Halloween fundraiser features a 5K Run/Walk and a 1K Fun Run for participants of all ages, including pups, walkers and strollers. Guests can enjoy costume contests for kids, adults and dogs, with proceeds supporting Canine Pet Rescue’s efforts to save, rehabilitate and rehome animals.

Walk off that Thanksgiving meal with Fido on a guided 3-mile hike starting at the park's visitor's center to the covered bridge. You'll learn some fun facts from your Naturalist guide along the way. Please ensure your dog is leashed, bring water and wear appropriate shoes. Reservations are required.

Leashed dogs are invited to participate in this annual event that begins at the museum where you'll pick up a trail map and clues. Then, you'll take the 3-mile Battery Trail searching for clues! Finishers who find all the clues can return to the museum to claim a prize (while supplies last!). Please note that dogs aren't permitted inside buildings.

Line up along Savannah's riverfront to watch over 40 boats decorated in holiday cheer parade down the Savannah River! The parade will be led by the Georgia Queen Riverboat and begin at the Eastern Wharf Dock at the Thompson Savannah Hotel. After passing the panel of judges at the Eastern Wharf Park, the Captains will continue down the river past River Street and Plant Riverside District, ending back at the Eastern Wharf Dock.

The highlight of Savannah’s Waterfront Christmas on the River is the lighted holiday parade! It will start at the Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, head to the east end, and then through downtown. The parade features community floats, cars, trolleys, walking groups and more!

Take a stroll with Fido along River Street and enjoy holiday tunes and performances, shop for unique gifts at the pet-friendly merchants, and enjoy the Annual Lighted Christmas Street Parade on Saturday evening!
