MayFest Street Fair Leashed dogs are welcome at this fun event located on Springfield Avenue between Indiana and Rutgers Streets. There will be activities for kids, live music, performances, and dozens of local and regional vendors! Memorial Day - Remembrance Weeekend at Historic Cold Spring Village Active duty military members and veterans receive free admission to this special Memorial Day event. Leashed dogs are welcome in all outdoor areas but aren't permitted inside buildings. Visitors can participate in the Field of Honor Flags fundraiser, where donations help support homeless veterans, and dedicated flags will be displayed in the Field of Honor. A public reading of the Gettysburg Address by an Abraham Lincoln reenactor will take place, recognizing the origins of Memorial Day, which was first established to honor fallen Union soldiers from the Civil War.
