Dogs must be leashed, and guests are welcome to bring a picnic, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (glass is prohibited). There will also be a food vendor on site. You can find a schedule of bands on the event's official website. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

Bring Fido to the oldest Independence Day parade in Texas! Produced by the Arlington 4th of July Association, the parade leaves the staging area at 9:00 AM but it's advisable to arrive earlier to find a good parking spot and get to your favorite watching place. Please ensure your dog is kept on a leash at all times. Blankets are good, but a lightweight folding chair is better. Bring an umbrella, parasol or portable canopy for shade, and don't forget water for yourself and Fido.
