Staff were hospitable and gave our dog a treat upon arrival. They gave us great recommendations for dinner and mentioned their laundry room was free for guests to use. Rooms were spacious, and plenty of room outside to walk the dog.

Even though the hotel was in process of renovation, the staff were really friendly; immediately helped me with a door problem and took care of everything pooch and I needed. He appreciated the large grassy area nearby, too!

Not luxurious (didn’t expect it to be), but so incredibly pleasant, nice employees, clean room, great little kitchen, good space, place to walk the dogs, flexibility with checkout, overall complete decency coming from cool humans in a relaxing space that let our dogs hang out while we all attended an out of state tournament. Zero complaints, high five (human and paw) to everyone who made our stay chill and awesome.

Large well lite area for dog walking. Hotel was very quiet and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Reasonable pet fee. Very friendly desk agent at check in.

The room was nice for stopping along the way for a road trip. There was a large grassy area for my dog to run around in. They gave me a room right next to the side exit on the main floor so I could easily bring him in and out.

Friendly Staff. Nice but small Room for a suite. Hallways and room floor not real clean. Hallway had sticky substance on floor outside of elevator for entire evening and morning we were there.

Friendly staff, Clean room, spacious, has a kitchenette which was a plus. Overall we had a good stay. It was Dog friendly. Had a big dog grass walking area.

We stayed for just 1 night passing through Lexington. The hotel itself is dated, but the room was clean. The receptionist was friendly and offered my dog a treat. There is a big pet area on the side of the hotel - I appreciated that I didn’t see any poop on the ground so that was well kept also.

Stayed at the Candlewood Inn and Suites and not only did we enjoy it, so did Ripple. The price was very reasonable and they could not have been more accommodating. Will say, like many businesses in horse country, they have a miniature horse statue out front; Ripple barked and protected us well. Definitely will use again.

Was pleasantly surprised at the location, with a clean look and new rooms and appliances. Apparently they are about to do renovations, so it will ultimately look even better. It's definitely pet friendly, with plans for a wing dedicated to putting people with pets and a nice outdoor field for walking and playing.
Rooms are spacious with good amenities and small kitchenette for longer term stays. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and AC is strong and wired with wall controls. Only downside is the thinner floors/ceiling which bleeds through some sounds from above, like footsteps and furniture movement. - JeffApr 14, 2021Candle wood
